Aardschok, Dutch metal magazine (Author: André Verhu) - Live Blood Review

First there was the arrival of singer Jack Meille, followed a few years later by that of his compatriot, guitarist Francesco Marras. The two super-talented musicians single-handedly lifted the originally Northern English band out of the doldrums, as evidenced by the fantastic album 'Bloodline', released in 2023. They prove that the Southern Europeans can also hold their own live during a show recorded in Wales that is immortalized on this live album.
Not since the departure of their illustrious predecessors from long ago, Jon Deverill and John Sykes, have the Tygers sounded so sparkling and driven. Whether it concerns old hits such as “Euthanasia”, “Gangland”, “Slave To Freedom” and “Hellbound” or songs from a more recent date such as “Edge Of The World” and the appropriately entitled “Back For Good”, the sparks fly again as in 1981. Tygers Of Pan Tang counts again. Live and in the studio. If you missed 'Bloodlines' in all the fuss last year, do yourself a favour and give the album another listen.
