The NWOBHM warriors of TYGERS OF PAN TANG are back with a Best Of album, which includes songs from the last thirteen years. The line-up includes Jack Mielle on mic, Robb Weir and Francesco Marras on guitars, Gav Gray on bass and Craig Ellis on drums.

I had my first meeting with TYGERS OF PAN TANG with the last album from 2019 which I got. I even liked this very much, but somehow, I lost focus on the band again, too many promos that I liked and that one gradually ordered, and the TYGERS OF PAN TANG disappeared from the radar. Now I have this best of and I have to admit that this material is very good and that I will listen to the whole work of this band.

On the disc, a mixture of hard rock and metal is offered that puts a lot of pressure on, blows out of the speakers with catchiness and harshness. Mostly in British-style hard rock or sometimes in metal garb, the five rock the very best. In addition, there is a vocal cord acrobat behind the microphone who does a fabulous job, the guitars hiss like hell and the drums push and push.

With songs like “Damn You”, the monster “Destiny” what a punch, “Glad Rags”, “Keeping Me Alive”, “Only The Brave”, “She”, “Spoils Of War” with orchestra, “The Devil You Know ”,“ What You Say ”,“ White Lines ”and“ Worlds Apart ”the band made a very good choice.

Conclusion: For all those who want to get an overview of the TYGERS OF PAN TANG a worthwhile purchase for fans anyway a must.
