After having deployed the
Italian infantry and artillery,
the moment has come for the
platoon of the "British tigers",
on the battlefield since 1978,
here are the ferocious TYGERS OF
PAN TANG bursting onto the
stage, breaking the fans'
screams with Euthanasia.
Immediately the fans leave for a
journey along the track of the
NWOBHM, while the band takes
songs from the discography which
boasts thirteen discs,
unfortunately it is impossible
to go through it entirely but I
assure you that every piece
proposed has exalted the
increased audience.
From the latest Bloodlines they
perform Edge of the World, Fire
on the Horizon and others, while
from the past come great hits
such as Gangland, Slave to
Freedom and Only the Brave, and
the atmosphere is increasingly
buzzing thanks to the adrenaline
released by Robb Weir and his
companions who hold the stage
like great professionals.
The stainless Robb, the only
original member, is the driving
force of the rhythm, flanked by
our Francesco Marras, they make
the guitars roar, biting us with
powerful riffs and solos, Huw
Holding holds us tight with
rumbling bass lines, while
behind the drums Craig Ellis
makes the stage tremble .
On vocals our Jacopo "Jack"
Meille brings prestige to his
sharp vocal cords, involving the
fans and creating a symbiosis
with his companions, finally
with Suzie Smiled they conclude
the first part of the show,
retiring for a well-deserved
break accompanied by the fans'
encouragement .
After a short time, the tigers
attack us stronger than before,
with the hat-trick Hellbound,
Running Out Of Time and the
cover of The Clovers Love Potion
n. 9, marking the end of the
journey into the dimension of
classic heavy metal, heartily
thanking the fans for their
precious and noisy support, they
leave the stage triumphantly.
Tonight, hard'n'heavy dominated
unchallenged, thanks to our Sons
Of Thunder and Skanners who,
with grit and passion, defended
Italian metal with honour.
Congratulations to TYGERS OF PAN
TANG, whose claws have left a
deep gash in the hearts of the
fans and in the venue, we thank
Cerberus Booking and No Sun
Music for organizing this
fantastic event. Until next
time!
