Musik Atlas, Germany  -  'A New Heartbeat' Review

This NWOBHM institution has by no means been idle in recent months, despite various forced pandemic breaks. They couldn't be, after all, after Francesco Marras as the new guitarist, Huw Holding now also a new bass player. Huw can't be heard on this 4-tracker yet, but from now on he should be just as much a part of the band as Francesco.
The guitarist, who also works for Screaming Shadows, seems to have successfully completed his baptism of fire during the recordings for the compilation "Majors & Minors" released last year, and was able to present himself on this EP, which is intended as a foretaste of the upcoming studio album is to contribute to the song writing for the first time. Apparently successful, because the two new tracks 'A New Heartbeat' and 'Red Mist' are absolutely convincing and prove to be typical TYGERS rockers. This obviously also applies to the two numbers 'Fireclown' and 'Killers' from the 1980 debut "Wild Cat", which can now be heard for the first time in studio versions with Jacopo Meille on the microphone. Good that the TYGERS are doing well. Gentlemen. the next long player can be served!
