The nice thing is that the guys are still making music. After all, they were among the most hopeful troops at the beginning of the eighties and thanks to them a certain John Sykes made the leap to Whitesnake, where he helped the white snake to sell millions of units with "Slide It In" and especially "1987". Let's get into the here and now and find that TOPT are still writing great tracks. The «Destiny» creeping up like a tiger is the best proof of this. Not only the guitar work by Robb Weir and newcomer Francesco Marras is beyond all doubt, but also the great organ by singer Jack Meille, who also refined the last Sainted Sinners work. With a lot of rock'n roll in your fingers, «Glad Rags» pops out of the speakers, as does cool «Hot Blooded». "Keeping Me Alive" turns the corner, ready to overtake, and then quickly picks up speed. These are tracks that, once heard, never get out of your head and are God's gifts. Yes, the "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" legend still writes songs to last. Anyone who has dealt with the boys in the last few decades already knows that. A riff like “Never Give In” has more energy and unbridled power in it than many newcomer troops on an entire work. The furious "Only The Brave" convinces with a melody and a refrain that is second to none, while the playful "She" convinces with great riffs and vocal parts. The string parts in “Spoils Of War” also fit perfectly, as does the driving rhythm machine in “The Devil You Know”. It remains a tragedy that the tigers never received much attention. Whereby, maybe this is exactly where the recipe for success lies hidden. Because in this way the quintet can compose and play without pressure. If you like great heavy rock, you can't ignore this group. AMEN!
