Deep line-up changes, but Robb with faithful Jack are the constant: that's what guarantees this massive sound! Then, of course, Craig Ellis' drumming hits the spot and the last bass in the studio of Gavin (now replaced by Huw Holding) is incisive ... it remains however indisputable that the songs of the tigers do not lie, do not forgive ... so much so that even the new axe man Marras finds space to be heard, get noticed, to excite and enhance. And while the world goes on, in tatters or not, Tygers of Pan Tang don't give up: an album in 2019, a compilation last year and now an EP that pulls a line of connection between the past and the future: two songs from " Wild Cat ', the first album, appropriately re-recorded from the recent line up, to celebrate the origins, and two brand new songs ... to celebrate tomorrow, the future, the damn heavy metal that Robb's band continues to give us in generous doses for over 40 years! Four songs, twenty minutes of metal. Pieces from 1980 and songs from the third decade of the new millennium. Differences? Many ... but also, few since everything is mixed with the current sound of the band. Power? More than any of you can tolerate. And if you are no longer very young .. it is advisable to consume "A New Heartbeat" only under the prescription of your doctor or trusted virologists.
