Of the freshest release (last May 28) for the Danish record label Mighty Music, this Majors & Minors, of the "Italianized" TYGERS OF PAN TANG, thanks to the presence of the now historic frontman Jacopo Meille and the new guitar purchase Francesco Marras , collects the best of the most recent production of this historical NWOBHM formation, going to fish the most precious pearls of the last 13 years, the new classics, which do not disfigure at all with the historical successes of the band.

Introduced by the beautiful cover of Roberto Toderico, in which, in the eye of the tiger, the covers of the previous discs are honoured, the 15 tracks that make up the disc (10 in the vinyl version) are the perfect compendium for those wishing to test the excellent state of health of the most recent developments of the band, but also for those approaching for the first time the creature of Robb Weir and associates: just listen once to the initial hat-trick "Only The Brave", "Destiny" and "She" to be immediately conquered, thanks to the crazy shot of the group and above all to the voice of the excellent Jacopo, who does not miss a beat.

Not only best of, however, because the disc also includes some first fruits: "Plug Me In" of which there was no CD version, a new orchestral version of "Spoils Of War" and the B-side "What You Say", never released on any album. Finally, the vinyl, of which there are three coloured versions for the collection, in addition to the classic in black, is also graced by the live version of the song “Keeping Me Alive”.

The formula of hard rock mixed with the heavy of the early days is very well-established and, thanks also to a production of the highest quality (just mention the giant Chris Tangarides, to get an idea of the level), the songs always sound fresh and effective and you can perceive clearly that the whole band is totally at ease with what is proposed. The word that comes to mind, as the traces flow through the reader, is "satisfaction"; the ear comes out well fed from the sonic experience and this is all you can ask for from a record: to make us feel better.

There is little else to add to what has already been said; at this point all that remains is to wait for the tour planned by the band for the next 2022 to pass here too!
