They were founded in 1978, can be stylistically assigned to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and celebrated chart successes in their early years and with their first four albums in their British homeland. After a decade with no releases (the nineties), the Tygers Of Pan Tang started up again in 2001 with "Mystical".

Twenty years later, the quintet around guitarist and band founder Robb Weir is now releasing another album, baptized "Majors & Minors", 15 songs with a total playing time of almost 68 minutes. In this case it is not a new studio album, but a selection of songs that have been written and recorded over the past 13 years.

The band has selected songs for the album that they believe are classics and represent the Tygers renaissance, enhanced by a Florentine vocals! "It was a lot of fun putting this together, so make yourself comfortable, hit Tygers Of Pan Tang on play and let the Tygers rock," says Robb Weir. Whether you need this compilation as a die-hard Tygers Of Pan Tang fan you have to decide for yourself individually, it should be mentioned positively that with "Plug Me In" on"Majors & Minors" contain a song that was never released on CD and that the cover is top-notch again!
