Seven T-Bone Steaks for the Tigers!!"...Who doesn't know the famous slogan from a ketchup promotional clip? Funny, whenever I hear the metal band Tygers Of Pan Tang I have to think of them, even though they write themselves with Y instead of I. No idea why, maybe a little crazy. I like the British music a lot, although the five-piece around the only remaining founding member Robb Weir could never stink against more successful colleagues like Iron Maiden or Saxon due to internal quarrels and many line-up changes, which somehow still applies today. Because now, with guitarist Francesco Marras and bassist Huw Holding, there are two new ones to announce.

Anyway, the waiting time for the almost finished new long player, which is apparently still in demo status at the moment, is now shortened with a 4-tracker. Here you can find two newly recorded classics with "Firedown" and "Killers" from the debut "Wild Cat" (1980). But there are also two really new songs, namely "A New Heartbeat" and "Red Mist", both typically Tygers driving and going forward! Both will be on the new album, so the fans and I can already look forward to it! Overall, "A New Heartbeat" shows that this band still has it all!
