Second, third, fourth youth. When it comes to Tygers Of Pan Tang there is the risk of losing the account. Much less marked is the risk of listening to less than valid music. A New Heartbeat marks the official debut of the guitarist Francesco Marras, who doubles the Italian coefficient of presence in the English band since 2004 the microphone has been firmly in the hands of Jack Meille. It is a simple EP, four songs in all recorded during the lockdown to give a first visibility to the current incarnation of the historic line-up, which guitarist Robb Weir has been guiding with a more or less steady hand since 1978. There are two unreleased and rhythmic A New Heartbeat with its fitting title and the vaguely zeppelin-like Red Mist, which sees Meille try her hand at her favourite vocal terrain. Fireclown and Killers, with its ally Thin Lizzy phrasing, come from the historic debut Wild Cat (we are talking about 1980), even if they are not among the recognized classics of the Tygers: the two current versions convince with their freshness and energy, even guitarists, revealing itself completely in line with the current production of a band that never ceases to convince, regardless of the line-up changes.
